Bilingual Program Coordinator
Laura is a Honduran native with a degree in Economics and a background working with humanitarian and non-profit organizations. With the United Nations Development Programme, she secured funds for community-based organizations pursuing environmentally sustainable projects in Honduras. Laura also worked as a writer for the World Food Programme, preparing reports and communications for donors and general audiences. Since moving to California five years ago, she has worked for Bay Area Community Resources and Contra Costa County, pursuing her career passions in environmental health, health equity, and advocacy. She currently volunteers as a Board Member at Bee Holistic Cat Rescue and Care. Laura joined Zero Breast Cancer in September 2022.
