Our 25th year is here!
We’re excited about what Zero Breast Cancer will accomplish in 2021, thanks to our partners and donors. We are more committed than ever to improving health equity in breast cancer prevention and in survivorship. With your help, we can reach people of all races, cultures, incomes, dis/abilities and gender identities, so that everyone knows how to reduce their own and their community’s risk of breast cancer and recurrence.
Health equity is the theme of our free Web Forum series. If you haven’t yet registered for our first webinar on January 28th about how research and advocacy are stronger when they include the voices of patients, survivors and caregivers, check it out: zbclink.org/bridge!
So many other wonderful organizations are working on equity in cancer prevention, and we are proud to be partnering with more of them. We have recently signed Tigerlily Foundation’s Inclusion Pledge and are working with them to develop a plan to track and extend our work for and with Black women. In the last quarter, we have also connected with the Cancer Resource Center of the Desert, serving the U.S./Mexico border region, and the California Rural Indian Health Board/California Tribal Comprehensive Cancer Control Program. We look forward to continuing to expand our collaborations with researchers and community groups to promote health and wellness, and reduce cancer risk for all.
Thank you to all of you who showed your support of our mission with a year end donation. We couldn’t do this work without you, and we are so grateful.
