Environmental Exposures

We are an established and active partner in breast cancer research. We are commited to working with scientists to identify, understand and address modifiable risk factors, especially those things in our physical and social environments that contribute to breast cancer risk or recurrence.

Community engagement is uniquely effective for focusing, implementing and applying research into breast cancer causes and prevention. Zero Breast Cancer is committed to the philosophy that people who live in a particular community can be invaluable contributors to the research process. That is why Zero Breast Cancer created an innovative way to conduct breast cancer research:

Exploring Environmental Causes of Breast Cancer: Chemicals Testing

We are partners on 3 projects funded by the California Breast Cancer Research Program (CBCRP) through 2018.
