In 2000, Zero Breast Cancer launched an annual tradition of recognizing individuals and organizations that are making an impact on:
- The search for environmental causes of breast cancer
- Breast cancer prevention
- Those living with breast cancer
These awards are presented at an event usually held in May (previously known as Honor Thy Healer). This creates a valuable opportunity to share new information, insights and learning and to thank individuals and groups for making a difference. Below are the award categories and a brief description of each.
Click on a category below and discover personal stories about how the research has progressed over the last two decades; how businesses have done well by doing good; how healthcare professionals, friends, family members and colleagues play unique roles in supporting people with breast cancer, as they strive to get, and stay, well.
