KATHLEEN CLARK
Board President, Marin Breast Cancer Council

A year after being diagnosed with breast cancer, Kathleen Clark found herself walking down the runway of her first fashion show, "Stepping Out to Celebrate Life," an annual gala event sponsored by Marin Breast Cancer Council.

The experience of working to raise funds for breast cancer was so rewarding, Kathleen switched careers. She left education to become the first coordinator of Marin General Hospital's B.R.E.A.S.T. Center. As a founding member of the Marin Breast Cancer Council, Kathleen has worked to raise funds and served as a volunteer coordinator for the organization.

The Marin Breast Cancer Council is a non-profit organization made up solely of volunteers. It raises funds to help San Francisco Bay Area organizations that help people who are dealing with breast cancer or who have breast health concerns.
