Zero Breast Cancer is excited to share that our Program Director, Catherine Thomsen, is a featured guest on the November 360BayArea podcast. Titled Beyond the Pink, the episode explores the breast cancer topic from unique angles that go beyond the pink ribbon in order to understand genuine and diverse personal experiences of women who are diagnosed or had loved ones who have had breast cancer.

Catherine emphasized ZBC's work to address breast cancer risk factors and opportunities for reducing our risk. She stated: "going through puberty earlier means that you are exposed to more hormones over the course of your life, and that's the theory behind why girls who enter puberty early are at higher risk of breast cancer." We can take action to start our daughters onto a healthier life, which is why ZBC launched the Girls' New Puberty campaign
